what's cuter than a baby beluga (delphinapterus leucas) whale? nothing has such a shiny bald head (don't be lookin' at me!) and enchanting smile as this resident of the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago.
it's always fun to introduce new paddlers to red rock sunsets and saturday's didn't disappoint anyone. a new seaman first class and the stripbuilt didn't make it through the sea cave, but my dagger got a promotion for a new seaman second class in the red rock armada.

it is the season for bambi to grow to adolescence and this mother reflects the "cuteness" still remaining from those adorable little fawns. nightfall on the water can be interesting to both parties......... so party on Garth!
